Occupational Therapy

The occupational therapy team provides skilled evaluation and treatment with an emphasis on developmental skills such as sensory processing and motor skills; independent living skills like self-care, community awareness and meal preparation; and psychosocial skills such as peer interaction, coping skills and communication.

Occupational Therapy is used to enhance and preserve performance, restore impaired skills and establish new skills. Treatment is provided while the child engages in actual daily occupations and in goal-directed behaviors and activities.
